- Turbine Design
In turbine design, computational fluid dynamics, 3D modeling, hydraulic-mechanical analysis methods and efficiency calculations are used by following the latest technological developments. SU-ENER employees prioritize high power output, high operating flexibility and high machine reliability by optimizing the design. Since 2010, SUENER Engineering has successfully completed the Francis type turbine design, production, installation and commissioning of 7 power plants with a total installed power of 31 MW, and has conducted CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis of Karakaya HEPP turbine with an installed power of 1800 MW.

Efficiency measurements are carried out by a professional team in accordance with IEC Standards 60041 and 62006 (class B). Various flow measurement and pressure measurement methods are applied according to plant needs. SUENER Engineering has installed efficiency measurement systems for a total of 18 power plants and prepared a detailed efficiency measurement report.
- Governor Systems
Hydraulic Power Unit and Digital Governor design, production, installation, and commissioning works are carried out in Francis, Pelton and Kaplan units. SUENER offers complete hydraulic power unit (HPU) packages including sump tank, pumps, control and main relay valves, filters, monitoring devices, and pressure accumulators. The standard concept has a modular design with use of reliable industrial components and design pressure up to 250 bar. The hydraulic systems are designed together with the actuating elements, both for new plants and rehabilitation projects. Our digital governors offer a wide extend of control modes to operate any kind of turbine in a safe and dynamic manner: Speed control, power control, water level control and flow control. The system is designed for fully automatic operation. Moreover, the operator can get detailed information about the status of turbine and governor via local and remote operator stations. This makes sure a safe and efficient operation and monitoring. Since 2011, SUENER Engineering has excelled in the design, production, installation and commissioning of the governor system and commissioned 13 power plants with a total installed power of 2055 MW.
- Scada and Excitation Systems
Scada and its auxiliary systems; SCADA consists of protection, synchronization, warning and internal requirement systems. SU-ENER Engineering, with its solution partners, carries out the control, protection, synchronization, warning and internal requirement system installation and commissioning works of hydroelectric power plants.
- Consultancy
Within the consultancy services; selection of turbine equipment, preparation of necessary specifications, management of tender offer processes, compatibility with construction projects, energy and cost optimizations, production controls, installation and commissioning services are provided.
